Courses & Admissions

Admissions to post-graduate and under-graduate (B.Sc. Biotechnology) programs are made through entrance tests conducted some time in months of June-July every year. The eligibility criteria and intake capacity for both the courses are given as under:

M.Sc. Biotechnolgy:

Those students who have passed B.Sc. with a minimum of 50 % marks (relaxation is available for the reserved category of students as provided by the University) are eligible to seek admission in this course. Candidates from outside the state of Rajasthan should possess a minimum of 60 % marks to seek admission. A candidate should studied any two of the following subjects for at least two years at the under gradate level : Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Environmental Biology and Biotechnology.  

B.Sc. Biotechnolgy:

Those students who have passed 10+2 School examination (Biology Group) with a minimum of 50 % marks (relaxation is available for the reserved category of students as provided by the University) are eligible for admission. Candidates from outside the state of Rajasthan should possess a minimum of 60 % marks to seek admission. 

Reservations:

The reservations are provided to all the categories of students as per the norms laid down by the university and the state government.

Note:

• The students should look for advertisement in the news papers.

• The details of entrance test, admission procedure and seat distribution will be provided with the information booklet and application form.
